Audi Recall: Rearview Camera Software Issue Affects 2025 Audi Q3

Audi is recalling 14,028 units of its 2024-2025 Q3 SUVs due to a software glitch in the rearview camera control unit. This defect may prevent the camera image from displaying when the vehicle is in reverse or when the parking assistance button is engaged.

Why Is Audi Recalling the Q3?

The recall stems from a software bug that affects the startup sequence of the rearview camera’s control unit. This issue reduces rear visibility and increases the risk of a crash. Audi identified the problem after investigating a report from a foreign market in late 2023, leading to this recall decision in early February 2025.
